Investing in property in Thailand
is not something that is new. For years the country has become a
haven for expatriates looking to live their life in a warm country
that has many exotic locations. One particular resort in Thailand
where property investment is popular is Pattaya. Over the last decade
the international hotel industry has invested billions into this
resort and it is now the second most visited place in Thailand after
Puhket.
Pattaya has recently been seen as a
much wiser investment than Bangkok after the recent flooding and the
fact that the Capital is saturated with traffic and pollution. The
amount of property for sale in pattaya is
huge and it seems that there is a new project being built every day.
The most common types of property that you will find is condo's.
These properties are popular as a foreign buyer can own the apartment
outright and it is great for renting out to tourists during the high
season.
Most condo's come as part of a high
rise building that has great views of the sea and surrounding areas.
These properties also usually have a communal swimming pool and gym
for people to use. This makes them very attractive to tourists
looking to rent.
Another reason that people decide
to invest in Thailand is that they are not affected by capital gains
tax. Peoples investments are also continually rising as property
value continues to steadily increase. Risk is now lower than it once
was so now is really the time to make your investment.
Pattaya is located on the eastern
seaboard of Thailand ans is about a 2hr drive from Bankgok airport.
There are many islands that face Pattaya and these make an ideal
place for tourists to visit. Scuba diving and many other water-sports
are available, along with numerous activities for the children. At
night you can explore the fun side of the city and visit the many
bars and discos that are on offer. Restaurants can be found wherever
you look and seafood is very popular here.
Buying a property in Pattaya,
either to make a profit, or to retire in, is becoming extremely
popular. There may be a risk that prices continue to rise at a fast
pace and so now may be the time to make your move.
